Claudio López to accompany team as luxury reinforcement in Seville
Valencia CF will be accompanied in the final of the Copa del Rey by club legend Claudio López, who will return to La Cartuja -a stadium at which he has fond memories- as a special guest of the club.

López played for Valencia CF from 1996/97 to 1999/2000, and experienced many great nights representing the club, but perhaps the most remembered will always be the 1999 Copa del Rey final, played at the venue of this year’s competition in Seville. In that match, the Argentine striker scored two goals that were decisive to Valencia CF winning the cup: In the 22nd minute he hit a spectacular volley to open the scoring, and in the 81st he killed off the game with a fast counterattack.

"El Piojo" will return to Valencia to share his experience with José Bordalás' team before traveling to Seville. Once there, he will join the VCF Media team as a commentator for a final in which Valencia CF will seek their ninth Copa del Rey.
